Hello, my name is Rob Green, welcome to my online portfolio!
Originally from North Wales, I have recently started my career as an industrial designer in a small consultancy in Derbyshire. I graduated in 2017 with a 1st class honours in Product Design and Manufacture (MEng) at the University of Nottingham.
I am an extremely passionate designer, constantly striving for innovation, quality and originality in the work I produce. I have a perceptive eye for detail, understanding context and the importance of the user. I have developed an awareness of changing social and technological trends that impact the field of product design. I have varied set of skills, with a strong technical emphasis on design for manufacture, injection moulding, part tolerances and liaising with tool makers.
In my spare time, my hobbies include playing bass guitar, cycling, photography, socialising with friends, and sketching. I enjoy live music, travelling to new places, and meeting new people. I have a lot of motivation and work hard in every aspect of what I do.

Polite and punctual, I am motivated and manage my time on projects efficiency. I am an able communicator with the team and my clients, providing appropriate visual work and data to explain design decisions. I am enthusiastic and always work to the best of my ability.
I am never complacent with the work I produce, I feel there is always room for improvement or an alternative method of working that can produce end results more efficiently. In my spare time I often read books and websites based on design, architecture, and technology to gain a better understanding of the industry.
I am open minded, supportive in a team and have a positive attitude to work and others.
